Lagos, Nigeria 07/29 - Candidates vying for the chairmanship and vice chairmanship of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA), at the 29 August election in Abuja, must not be above 35 years old, the electoral committee for the polls, has directed.
The committee said in a statement that those seeking election into the board of the association must also not be above 30 years of age.
It said all contestants must possess at least a pass in the secondary school certificate exam or its equivalent.
The former NFA board was dissolved at a special congress in Abuja recently, paving the way for fresh elections after a long-drawn crisis that observers said have stunted the growth of the country`s football.
